There were 8,200 participants gathered for the opening ceremony in the Basilica St Pius X. Following the procession of banners depicting the Madonna relative to each of the 52 countries, members of the International Leading Team respectively read a message from Pope benedict XVI and presented the new logo of the movement. Thanks also to the choir, it was altogether a joyful as well as a meditative atmosphere.
