Morning Prayer
Psalm 66
Word of God: John 15: 9,11-13
“
As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love.” “I
have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that
your joy may be complete.
This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s
friends.”
Psalm 148
Silent Meditation
We suggest a ten-minutes period of silent meditation.
- In what way and by what specific means do I wish to
take root in the Love of the Father?
- What are the situations in which I chose (or chose again) to “give
of myself, give my life”?
Our Father
Prayer
Priest Father of Jesus, we give you thanks and bless you for having lavish
on us so many graces and blessings through him. You erected between heaven
and earth the tree of the cross: may its arms stretch out over the world;
may its fruit heal the nations; may its sign lead men to salvation and
may the people gathered in Christ, praise you for ever. Through Jesus
Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Holy Spirit, now and
forever.
Everybody Amen
