The priest is part of a team and participates fully in its monthly meetings. His role is mainly to enlighten couples on questions which they ask on spiritual matters. The Spiritual Counsellor (or chaplain as he is sometimes called) helps the team recognise themselves as a community in the Church. |
Thought for Today
At the beginning of every year, we dream up numerous projects, great programmes, and new ideas. But do we leave any space or place for the unexpected from God? Are we able to welcome God there where we do not expect him, even if he comes and upsets our plans? Let God surprise us! Let us make space for the unexpected from God...even if it disturbs us a bit.
