This is a team which is composed of 4 - 6 couples and a spiritual counsellor (chaplain), who work collegially, and have overall responsibility for the movement. The period of service is six years. The composition of the members of the International Leading Team reflects the international character of the movement.The members do not represent their own countries. The team chooses one of its couples to be the Leading Couple, whose task is to animate the movement; the period of service is also six years, and they are the official representatives of the movement.
The International College is composed of the members of the International Leading Team and of the Super-Regional Couples. The college is an example of reflection and the exchange of views, designed to promote at the international level a collegial exercise of general responsibity for the the Teams of Our Lady. It meets once a year for a work session lasting several days, to which Regional Couples from Isolated Regions and Regional Co-Ordinators are periodically invited; and so they can also participate in the reflections of the college. At all levels of responsibility within the movement, the periods of service are of limited duration.
This is a letter sent periodically by the International Leading Team to each couple who are in Teams of Our Lady. It establishes close links, and is a good means of circulating information among members. Together with this letter, among other things, there is an editorial, plus texts of prayers, news of teams, reports and articles for reflection.
Each team is composed of 4 to 6 married couples and a spiritual counsellor (chaplain), who freely decide to be part of the movement of Teams of Our Lady, to respect its spirit, and to put into practice its suggestions. The team is the basic cell of the movement of Teams of Our Lady. Members of the team meet each month in a friendly atmosphere, and each year they elect a couple to be "in charge"- the Responsible Couple.
This means praying together as a couple. It binds couples together on a common journey and a shared plan. Such prayer, when it includes the whole family, can become a means of training and of passing on the faith.
A commitment that each couple tries to fit in at least once a month. The husband and wife arrange a special time together to have a dialogue, in the Lord's presence, about the practical and spiritual issues that are important to them in their everyday lives as a couple and a family.Thought for Today
'Being on the road' means letting oneself be carried along by the events and by things without necessarily being able to make sense of them. ‘Taking to the road', in contrast, means opening oneself up to new demands because it implies the decision to start a trip, to think about the route to be taken, to experience the preparation time that brings alive the sensation of expectation and waiting, and above all, it allows one to realise that ‘being on the road' is our new state of being. This state of being creates different behaviour in us. It gives us new words to tackle everyday life in its little and large aspects and to look at the way history is unfolding around us and how we are actors within that history."

A meeting of the International Leading Team (ERI) took place in Lebanon from October 23rd to November 1st, 2009. The next meeting of the International Leading Team (ERI) will be held in Paris from February 18th to 23rd, 2010.
